Depends on your intent. You can "link" anything using an href.
If you are looking to have it "play", you have to "embed" the file and/or the player such that a client browser knows how to handle it. The construct tends to be browser-specific.

I’m using freewebs and I’m creating a site from scratch, no premade templates. Is there some kind of upload site I could use to put my MP3 file in there and then use some kind of html code to embed that music to auto-play on my website?
